After Asbury: Visions of a Coming Reformation

Asbury shows signs of being a complete reformation. God will no longer permit us to ignore entire chapters of the New Testament in addition to the lessons of church history. Our so-called prophets, churches and leaders will fail, as many have failed already, to see what God is doing. Critics have legitimate reasons to reject Christianity, for some of the same reasons God will bring judgement on it. He has used and will use even persecutions of critics to cleanse it. The church is too busy criticizing outsiders to repent of its own failures and ask the right questions. The bride is not ready to be married, but this generation is questioning the very structure of the church. In so doing, they will recover what was lost for 1700 years.
