Dr Anne maintained a clinical practice in New York for 15 years; she has now lived abroad since early 2005 in both Europe and East Asia, with field research in 113 countries to date. She currently resides in Istanbul and has a company in Hong Kong.
Anne Hilty, PhD, is a cultural health psychologist with a focus on cultural preservation, sustainable development, social inclusion, and trauma resolution in post-conflict societies.
Dr. Hilty is affiliated with Ieodo-Sana cultural organization of Jeju Island as a social science researcher. She is also a freelance writer and published author, and is involved with several cultural preservation initiatives. A native of New York, Dr. Hilty now makes Jeju Island her home.
