這本與同作者的 Heart Disease and Health 情況有些類似
由於本書是在2012年出版
所以裡面大部分的連結已經失效了
本書另有附有檔案稍微彌補這一點
內容大致上是美國CDC、NIH、NGO的文宣、指南、甚至是食譜
總量約900MB,就沒看了

雖然我BMI正常,但是脂肪堆積在最不妙的腹部部分
所以仍算不上健康(這期間做的健檢也驗證這一點)
再說BMI是不佳的指標

以身高、體重、年齡算了一下基礎代謝率不到1600
乘上活動度1.2也不到2000大卡
而較常吃的早餐——火腿薯餅烤土司+檸檬紅茶約700大卡
再算上甜食……難怪

英文難度比Heart Disease and Health高了一點
因為涉及的身體部位太廣,還出現了連中文都沒聽過的病名
--
關於嬰幼兒的部分有需要再來精讀
而關於手術、藥物的部分有需要的時候技術很可能變了,就不用回頭讀了
