"...This friendly little book effectively describes the old growth forest habitat of a spotted owl in terms a very young child can understand". -- NAPRA ReView
Nice book for children who want to learn about owls. We learned mother owl watches for the owlets while father hunts. When father comes back with the food, it is passed from beak to beak: father to mother to owlets. And also that mother watches and doesn't interfere with the owlet's learning experiences.
