Dorcas' sons find a girl asleep in their barn! It's her cousin's daughter, Katie. After her cousin's passing, Katie had went to leave with her Uncle Jacob. Soon Jacob us there to get Katie, but Katie doesn't want to go back! Will Dorcas help these two? Will she find love again? Will Jacob let go of his past to find love?

This was my first book by Marta Perry, and my first book about the Amish.
I really enjoyed the family dynamics and the acceptance of a man from a different community. I loved the tight knit community and all of the characters.
I look forward to reading more of Marta Perry's books.

Great Story
This is a great inspirational romance story with great messages about family, faith, and what is most important. It's also about guilt, which can keep one from growing and moving forward, and it includes great lessons that one can glean from.

Excellent book!
Another excellent book in this series! I hate this series to come to an end! I hope Ms Perry would consider extending the series...the characters have become like family and friends to me!
