Tara Pammi can't remember a moment when she wasn't lost in a book, especially a romance which, for a teenager, was much more exciting than mathematics textbook. Before long, she was hiding romance novels within bigger textbooks, smuggling them into the home through her unsuspecting younger cousin’s school bag, and cycling more than a few miles to her favorite library to borrow more.
Through numerous ‘true’ loves :-) and traveling thousands of miles from family and friends, her attachment to books and especially romance novels stayed constant.
One fine day, toiling away as a grad student in a basement lab, Tara started typing the beginning of a story instead of her thesis. But it wasn’t until years later, encouraged by her real life hero, Tara realized what she truly wanted to do was to write.
Tara lives in Texas with her real life hero and her two little girls. When she isn't writing or reading, Tara can be found failing in the kitchen, watching TV or making resolutions to exercise more, or even a little.
Just no. Unrequited love. Step siblings. He marries another woman. He has a child with his wife. 13 years of unrequited love from the heroine while he treats her like sh..t. He’s also 12 years older so he has no reason for his cruelty. No apologies because he married another woman. None. She’s a virgin when they meet again and he asks her to help him with his lil daughter after his wife died. Fy. Sorry but in this time and age that a woman, a beautiful supermodel, can’t find a decent man with whom she can have a relationship with good sex, and she stays a virgin because she’s in love with the man who has been hating her and debasing her each time he sees her, it’s not conceivable. Unacceptable. I refuse to accept that such bs is still being published. I hated the book with all myself. And despised the heroine for being a weak, pathetic, idiot doormat waiting while the hero lives his life without giving up anything. I felt sadness, incredulity and second hand embarrassment.
I hated it. The hero and heroines dynamic was interesting and would be something I'd want to read about, but I hated that he married and had a kid with someone else, all while being drawn/attracted to heroine the whole time.
I wanted to like the heroine because of her family history, how that made her who she was and how she reacted to things. However I absolutely hated how obsessed with hero she was that she even stayed a virgin, while he married and had a kid with another woman, plus he treated her like absolute trash for almost all the time they knew each other. Also cherry on top he married her friend and she was maid of honor, he even knew it hurt her as it was happening (he recalled seeing pain in her eyes as she stood next to woman he married). Np.

These two truly hate each other, but hate is the flip side of love. So much bad history and seeing each other in the worst possible way. But they are forced together for 3 months in a castle, so stuff happens
This is the last book in the series and it was hard to finish, the plot was boring and the characters were hard to relate to. I didn’t enjoy this series.
This was really hard to read. I understand it was a fairy tale, but there was so much bad blood, and the heroine made such poor quality decisions and was generally doormat.
