"When Prisoners Return" identifies the need for individuals and churches to be involved as prisoners return to society; this book also equips individuals and churches with the information they need to effectively assist former prisoners.
As someone who works in prison ministry, I can say that the content of this book is excellent. I was a bit disillusioned, though, that they tried to pass this off as a 143 page book when the text itself is a mere 60 pages. The remainder of the book is nothing more than a long list of contact information for ministries and services that could be useful to ex-prisoners, and since the list was compiled in 2004, it is almost certainly outdated.
