After living all her life as an orphan, Melora learns about her biological family and the mafia hunting them down. Scared for her life, she flees to a children’s home in New York, where she meets her long-lost older sister…
Then she falls hopelessly in love with a boy who works for the mafia that’s chasing them.
Going on the run, Melora doesn’t know who to trust or what to believe. Terrified to risk her family’s life, she breaks things off with the man she loves. But after a shocking betrayal, she’s left with no hope.
Until the Light of Redemption comes, and changes everything…
Story about Melora is fabuluous. It is written very well and you can read it in one sitting. I loved all of the characters. The author wrote them like a real characters, to the point that you could feel that they are real people rather then book characters. I loved every aspect of the book and I highly recommend to read it.
I really enjoyed this debut novel written by Kaitlyn Daliath. It really was a pleasure to read it. It takes you from an innocent girl of 16 in an orphanage to being kidnapped by the mafia, all the pain she had to endure until she is restored with her family, and finally the love of her life. What I loved most about this book is how all things worked together for her own good. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Christian young adults books.
Got this book as an ARC from the author and I am writing this review out of my own will.
This is a debut book by this author and I was excited to read it. It was interesting as we discovered secrets along the way and really got to know Melora well. I really enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend it. I can’t wait to see what this author produces next.
