I find it suprising that I got this as a perk with a textbook adoption, as the amount of profanity is over and above anything I'd intentionally select for my classroom library. That said, it's a clear and entertaining/compelling story that I thoroughly enjoyed, and now that I've investigated further, it'll go right back into my library.

I thought this was an awesome resource for Spanish learners! The profanity in it would probably make some US schools consider it inappropriate, but I could have and would have used it with my older students (juniors and seniors). Also, that profanity is pretty typical in Spain, in my own experience. It's a very well done story, with great drawings, and it left me wanting to read the next one.

Great little book for learning Spanish. It was a little predictable, but its "predictability" actually helped me comprehend the Spanish, because I knew the general sentiments the characters were trying to convey.
I wish there was a series of about 30 of these that I could keep reading, but it appears this is the only one.

A good reader for someone at A2 or even B1 level. the only problem I had is one I always do with books that offer selective vocabulary help--why did they define that word but not also this word and this one and that other one? But that quibble aside, it is good. I like the art and the story is interesting on its own. I liked it enough that I plan to read the next two in the series.

Esto es un libro muy útil para aprender español porque tiene glosario con muchas palabras españolas y con sus traducciónes en tres lenguas (inglés, francés y alemán). Además puede hacer actividades muy beneficiosas al final del libro. Me gustó el libro mucho y entendí bien - es nivel A2.
