Sonny is an undoubtedly talented artist, but his writing skills? The story jumped around a lot and it was sort of hard to follow. His sense of humor shines through, which is one of the best things about We Shadows 1.
The inconsistent style of the art and the rather jumpy storyline keep this story from being as good as it could have been, but its quirky sense of humor does give it some definite appeal. It's worth trying, especially for fans of 'Van Von Hunter' and similar fantasy comedies.
Found this in a box of old books and read it. It was a lot better than I remembered from when I read a few pages of it when I first got it. I enjoyed it.
