At almost 30 years old, Gordon tries to take his dad’s repeated advice, “Get your life together.” He tries, but life keeps happening, he faces setbacks and feels discouraged. As he watches news media coverage of a high-profile suicide, he makes a plan to take his own life. In his suicide note he asks his mother to pray that God would allow him into Heaven.
