Sisters

Rate this book
Callie Staley is still haunted by memories of her sister, even though she has done everything in her power to exorcise the past. She remembers when Carla, lost under the spell of schizophrenia and still mourning the death of their parents, left home and found herself trapped in the arms of a rapist, eventually left to die in a world haunted by ghosts of her own making. But somehow she escaped what she hoped was the final nightmare and made a home in the most unlikely of places ... until the night she killed a man and was forced to return to the people she yearned to trust and confide in. But her past was not forgotten, and it spawned one last act of violence that claimed the life and sanity of those she thought she loved the most.

About the author

Mitch Sebourn

Mitch Sebourn is currently working his way through law school while (not so) secretly focussing most of his attention on trying to write The Great American Classic. He has published three novels and a collection of poetry in paperback, as well as a new novel, Watershed, available as a Kindle eBook.

He enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and is looking forward to being married next July.

When he is not sitting atop Tikaboo Peak spying on the inhabitants of Area 51, or scaling the slopes of Colorado's 14ers, he can typically be found calling the Hogs in central Arkansas.
