Light is my inspiration In this world of darkness. The light that is inside of me I know But do not feel. The storm clouds hang over me Yet, I won't despair. I won't live life in fear For then the pain will engulf me. Outside I look Inside I look What do I see? I see a man struggling to be human. Faraway towards the horizon Past the moon, starts, and sun I can see Everything that I was Everything that I am Everything that I will be. I can see A work in progress.
