A girl confronts her demons - and vice versa - in Vincent Truman's 2016 psychological one-act play. In "Mine", Deborah introduces the audience to a personal demon - a personification of an attack from seven years ago, as well as lifetime of missteps and wrongs - and how she has learned to dominate him while trying to lead a normal life. Of course, the demon has ideas of his own, and takes advantage of Deborah's weaknesses to wander her dreams in search of other demons, events and people who terrify his host. A traumatic, collateral-damage-heavy, battle of wills between host and demon ensues. "Mine" is a study of the things in our minds and hearts which prevent us from doing the things we want and attaining that which we wish for. Four to five actors (two female, two male, one pre-recorded voice for audio) with optional roles for dancers. No age restrictions.
