David B. Coe is an author of fantasy novels and short stories. He lives with his wife, Nancy Berner, and their two daughters on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee.
He has begun writing a new historical fantasy series under the pen name D.B. Jackson. The first one is titled Thieftaker, published in 2012.

I liked it a bit better than the first book, though I still don't know why I need to know that she would happily take this random man to bed on first sight, as she is bi. I could do with less insta horny or love. I'm looking specifically for urban fantasy and not paranormal romance to not get that, and yet, here it is. Not too bad, but still...

I do like the animals, the creatures, the myths, and Australia is a nice setting.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story that mixes urban fantasy and thriller. Entertaining, well written, featuring a solid mystery.
Liked and enjoyed it.

An excellent sequel to Stone. This book covers the second in magical artifacts that are important for pinning magic into the world of men. The main character is a Sidhe who left America for Australia after the death of her father at the hands of the fomoire. Her adventure in this book to save a magical artifact is exciting and non stop action. The writing was excellent, the world well defined and the characters had depth. It was hard to put down until it was finished. An excellent urban fantasy using Celtic mythology.
