Thoroughly enjoyed this book! A mix of biography and insights into how to apply Nelson's management skills - a good read! It is amazing that a man who died two hundred years ago still has something to offer us.

A very useful way of looking at and learning about leadership, and leadership styles. Using the approach of Admiral, Lord Nelson, and his pretty well-known life and legend really provides verifiable examples of how different leadership behaviour manifest themselves, and how an individual striving to become, and improve their own leadership practice can emulate behaviours. Whilst the somewhat egocentric approach to ‘creating a legacy’ that Nelson seemed to show is not my personal style, I still see that there are definite behaviour and tactics that will be useful in building teams and trust in the world of work that I operate in.

Very useful stuff!
