Results: Right Kind of Prayer

Hannah believed in the Most High God, and kept on praying and petitioning God to answer her prayer; but before she could receive the anticipated answer, she would need a right kind of prayer. What is a right kind of prayer? It is a prayer that God favors, because it is presented as a two-way instead of a one-way prayer. A prayer that is earnest and sincere in heart; and a prayer that the Almighty God can work through and be glorified. Hannah was living a prayer filled life; and desperately needed an answer from God. She was determined to see her way through the turmoil of dreadfulness within her home. The jealousy, rage, and humiliation that ran rampant within her home had to go! She had done everything she knew, to end the constant turmoil between Peninnah and herself. She had often cried out to God for deliverance, but to no avail. Something was clearly missing; and Hannah was determined to seek out the missing prayer component and take it to the next level. The missing component was the right kind of prayer. Hannah turned her full attention toward the One True and Living God; and humbly submitted herself, and spoke the right kind of prayer. Hannah aligned and engaged in pure thought toward the One True God and gave up her needs, and focused her attention toward the whole of Israel. She focused her attention on what was right and timely for God and His people.
