Leila al-Gauzoury, an Arab surgeon, working in France has an inspiring idea one day. The book brings back the American spine surgeon Jon Grigson first introduced in A Simple Twist of Fate. It abounds in fast moving operating room drama, sex and action combining the worlds of medicine, law and military strategy. Once started, it’s hard to put down.
