Amazingly good for what it is. Good reading and incredibly detailed maps including put in / take out points especially of the Cahaba River. This was actually my second time to read it. I really ought to buy it as a reference. this is obviously of little interest outside of canoeists or potential canoeists that are in or near Alabama.

Very good book and an interesting read. But, do not use as a guide for camping sites along the Cahaba because some of the information is outdated and some cabins and other landmarks are no longer there. Upper Cahaba information is much better than info below West Blockton/Centreville. i can't comment on some o the other rivers because I have not had the opportunity to paddle all the rivers.
