She’s more spice than sugar…and he has a taste for heat.

Whispering Cove, Book 5

Tabatha Taylor has mooned over her brother’s best friend since childhood. For years she’s been chipping away at his cool façade, using the generous, all-grown-up assets God gave her to her advantage.

Finally she has a chance to work close to him on a project for the Fall Festival. Going nose to nose with him will prove her ideas have merit, even if she doesn’t have a degree. But she learns the cost to her heart could be bigger than she anticipated.

Tabby’s dark beauty definitely sets architect Reece McGrath’s pulse racing, but she’s an itch better left unscratched. The attraction that flares between them is hot and undeniable, but getting close means risking a friendship he values and a lifestyle he cherishes. Crossing that boundary isn’t worth the price he’d have to pay.

With one of the grandfathers of Whispering Cove pinpointing them in another matchmaking scheme, though, they find themselves inching closer to that line. And closer…

This book gives new meaning to getting nailed. Nothing beats a man with a variety of tools at his disposal and a woman who is bold enough to take him on.

Born and raised in Arizona, I guess you'd call me a desert rat. Well, actually, I'd be a desert rat that loves the mountains and lakes. Arizona gives me great pleasure, because if I'm not at the computer writing or buried nose deep in a book you'll find me on a four-wheeler, or a jet ski, or being pulled behind my 26’ Monterey boat on an oblong tube called a ‘hot dog’ laughing my ass off. In fact, my family says I have an unnerving cackle cutting through the waves--similar to a witch!

Yes, that's right this witch has a family... Bill is my wonderful husband of twenty-two years. Tia, Samantha and Ashley are my three beautiful girls and my greatest accomplishments to date. And the light of my life is a devilishly handsome grandson, Dusty.

As writing is a passion with many—it’s an obsession with me. Who knew that the wild things going on in my head someone would actually read? But I'm thankful you do and I hope you find joy and entertainment in my sometimes—okay most of the time—risqué ramblings.

Whispering Cove, Book 5

Tabatha Taylor has mooned over her brother’s best friend since childhood. For years she’s been chipping away at his cool façade, using the generous, all-grown-up assets God gave her to her advantage.

Product Warnings

This book gives new meaning to getting nailed. Nothing beats a man with a variety of tools at his disposal and a woman who is bold enough to take him on.

This is one of those sweet and very spicy

Tabatha has been in love with her brother’s best friend since childhood. Now that she’s all grown up now and finds herself with an opportunity to work close to him on a project for the Fall Festival. But Reece is trying his hardest to stay away from her no matter how much he wants her or that he has feelings for her too.

Bold is book 5 in the Whispering Cove series. Some of the older guys in town have a matchmaking project going on and are convinced Tabatha and Reese make a perfect match. The only problem is Tabatha’s brother obviously does not approve of any sort of hook up between Tabatha and Reece, and Reece definitely seems a little scared of her brother too. They have all been friends for many years. In fact Reece and Tabatha’s brother are best friends. Reece is successful although he does travel a lot. They are all consenting adults. Why does Tabatha’s brother care so much?

Add to that the way Reece treats Tabatha after the first time they have sex Tabatha immediately starts blaming herself.

I really like the Whispering Cove Series. Has a great mix of good ole boys, great friends and some smokin’ hot lovin.

Bold is an entertaining story of unrequited love between a man and his best friend’s sister. I always enjoy these stories because there is always one person who’s always carried a torch and one who is usually somewhat clueless until they are hit over the head with it. This book is no different and the result is deliciously sexy and amusing.

Reece McGrath is a talented architect and builder. He runs a successful business and is content or he thinks he is until his best friend and co-worker’s little sister returns to town.

Tabatha Taylor (Tabby) has had a crush on her brother’s best friend most of her life. She’s come to realize that he’s started seeing her as a woman but won’t act on it out of some sense of loyalty. Bound and determined, she’s decided it’s time to make her move and the city’s Fall Festival gives her just the opportunity she needs.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book in the Whispering Cove series. Reece and Tabby have a history but for Reece it’s hard to go from family friend to more. Tabby has wanted more since she was a teen and when things don’t work out quite like she wants she’s hurt. It becomes obvious these two have something special but getting there isn’t easy. Add in a suspicious big brother, meddling “grandpas”, and helpful friends and this story becomes even more interesting and entertaining.

Bold is a great addition to this series; this town, the people, and their stories are captivating. These books for an enjoyable, sexy, and fun summer read. I can’t wait to see what happens in book six!

The old men, town matchmakers are at it again. This time they've targeted Tabatha Taylor to finally nail (hehehe) her life-long crush. Her brother's best friend, Reece McGrath.

So since this time around they are centering their matchmaking to the upcoming town festival, they've put Reece in charge of designing and building the booths for the Festival and now Tabby will be in charge of decorating. Which will put the two of them in close proximity for a while and having to work together, sometimes alone.

Of course you can't force things to happen, but these two have had sparks flying for a little while and then Tabby steps it up and decides its time to show Reece that she is all woman now and wants him. Wants him to be her first and her forever.

I can't say there was one thing I didn't like about this couple. They flirted, they joked around, they got down and dirty...and the whole thing worked for me. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down until it was done. And as I finished reading the last word I was left with a content sigh.

Another excellent match made in Whispering Cove heaven.

I like this series more with each new book, they are like the Harlequin Presents I used to read in my youth. Okay, they are way hotter than those books, but the romance formula is the same. Doesn't make them any less enjoyable.

This is the classic theme of girl crushing on her brother's best friend. Gabby is just sassy enough for me to love, Reece is a touch overbearing but I forgive him. They have a great dynamic and are super fun to read.

The steam is very wicked!! This is not a soft closed door romance, the bedroom door is wide open with delicious details!!! You will fan your face more than once!!

I adore the grandpas and their schemes! They are a very fun recurrence in the series. They are the best matchmakers I have read in a long time.

Tabatha Taylor is in love. Plain and simple. Nothing is going to stand in her way. Not even the fact the object of her desire is her brothers best friend Reece McGrath. But she is determined. Reece has been the source of her dreams since childhood and this festival she is going to ensure that she gets her man. No matter what it takes.

This book is a really easy, fun loving great read. It didn't take long to become completely submerged in the story and become part of the community following the events of the budding romance of Reece and Tabatha come to its fruition. An ideal summer, beach day read. Sun, Sand and just a little bit of sex.
