This short story collection, inspired by photographs, presents five winners and four honorable mentions from a 2022 Maryland Writers' Association contest. From a couple cleaning out an inherited run-down trailer to a man's life told through a decade's long series of messages on an answering machine, these short tales are powerful and engaging. The amount of talent residing in my state is inspiring. Pick up a copy! You won't be disappointed.
