A popular novelist, playwright, and newspaper columnist, Cherie moves effortlessly from genre to genre, writing powerful and entertaining work, whether in literary hardcover teen fiction, mass market paperback fiction, for the stage, film and television, and for her nationally-syndicated teen advice column.
I fell in love with these books in High School. I have read every one of them. I would absolutely read them over and over. Being out of Print makes it hard as life was lived and books are gone. I wish they would reprint them into digital. I would be all over that! Definitely an Awesome series, that I would Absolutely read again!
The girls win a trip to a 5* resort where Sam of course gets in totally over her head and gambles all her money away. An 'Indexent Proposition' comes her way, but she gets herself out of her problems by reuniting with her old Disneyland boss, who needs her to perform on stage
I'm not sure why the description mentions Christmas. This happens while all the families are on vacation during the second summer. These books are great for outfit descriptions. Sam and Emma sing in a band and wear "a red see-through shirt with a red bra underneath, worn with black leather hot pants with red cowboy boots." or Sam's "neon pink maillot" Emma wins a trip to Paradise Island. They meet boys and party. Fun breezy read.
This was my SVH when I was a younger. It allowed me to bond with my cousins in a way only a young book club could, and it helped with my dyslexia. Loved this book series when I was younger I think it’s a great buy for any teenager looking for a fun read.
