I received this devotional book for young people when I was in that age category years ago. Although I was a believer back then, I failed to establish a devotional time until later in life. As I thought about a devotional book for 2022, I decided to bring out this one that I had never completed. In fact, I cannot say that I ever made much progress in it those many years ago. I am glad I chose it for this year. The lady who compiled and published it in 1950 did a wonderful job bringing together many devotional thoughts are beneficial to any age group. Most of us who are classified as senior adults may have already experienced many of the things discussed in this little book, but we can still learn from these writings shared from years long past. Some of the writings shared may have been written a century or two before Mrs. Cowman but they are still timely, just as the Word of God is timely no matter when you read it. I recommend this devotional book for any age.
