Lots of energy and dialogue driven but very little development of the characters or a reason to care about them made for an ho hum reading experience.

CYBER-JACKED is best suited for advanced middle readers or early young adults who enjoy sci-fi stories. The action is rapid and not overly descriptive or violent. This applies to the language as well. Relationships are PG and there’s a strong theme of right vs. wrong throughout the entire book.

Friendship and family are also solid themes and not difficult to follow as the chapters are short, (TikTok style), sentence structure and the vocabulary are at a 4-5th grade level.

While reading this book, I found myself wishing it were a graphic novel and perhaps it had been published in multiple volumes. This would have given much more opportunity for the characters to live and the story to breathe📚

Great adventure with a strong female lead, easy to read and lots of fun. I think it will have wide appeal to sci-fi / fantasy and young adult readers.
