The Twelve

by Leslie B. Flynn

Leslie Flynn profiles each of the twelve men chosen by Jesus to constitute his inner corps of disciples. They were ordinary men, he says, who, after Jesus touched their lives, were never the same again. Flynn makes applications to our lives from theirs.

Interesting insight into the lives of the men Jesus called to be His followers. While a bit outdated, the message remains the same: We are all a mess, stop pretending that you have everything figured out and lead a life of perfection and purity. Spoiler: YOU DON'T. None of us do.

Excellent resource on the 12 Apostles. I enjoyed it, I'm sure you will too.
