Selby #5

Selby Spacedog

Rate this book
Selby may be keeping mum in front of his owners, but he'd better be careful listening to Gary Gaggs' corny jokes on the Gagg Bag telephone line.

Book five in the Selby series, Australia's only talking dog. This is another mixed bag, with some genuinely humorous moments, and some very average one's as well. Realistically if you have read one Selby you have read them all, but there is a great point in favour which is there is a definite continuity in this tories, and characters re-appear and we have knowledge of who they are, and there is some footnotes to assist your memory of which story they appeared in. The other good point is the publisher takes the time to list the books in the series in the front, publishers that can't be bothered doing that are very annoying!!!

Read this when I was 9. It's very appealing to me back then. :)
