Why is the divorce rate among evengelical Christians soaring to more than 50 percent, when the Jewish divorce rate is less than 7 percent? The answer is in this book, and it could greatly help Christians with this and many other problems. The Triumph of Justice will transform views on biblical justice, law, and the events surrounding the crucifixion of Jesus. This is an important work that will open the eyes of many Christians, giving fresh and powerful insights to some of Paul?s teachings that could greatly strengthen modern Christianity.
The Triumph of Justice, written by an anonymous "Orthodox Jewish Rabbi", is full of wisdom and a MUST READ for every Christian leader, pastor and disciple-maker. Although the title suggests the main topic is about justice (and it would certainly behoove all lawyers and judges to absorb its message), readers will gain a Jewish perspective on grace, legalism, eldership, discipleship, divorce, marriage, and remarriage.
The ideas presented are significant considering Christian couples are divorcing at the same rate as the world (about 50%), whereas divorce is virtually unheard of in the Jewish world. The few Jews who suffer marital breakdown do not go through lengthy conflict or court battles in which husband, wife and lawyers air each other's dirty laundry and fight over money and/or custody of children. This behavior which has become common among heathens is considered "blasphemous" among Jews. It is to be avoided by Christians according to the command the Apostle Paul gave in 1 Corinthians 6.
"Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!"
Few Christian leaders counsel their congregants in line with this Divine Advice, this Biblical Principle. Something of has been lost, and the matter revolves around "justice".
As everyone who follows me knows, Pastor Steve loves end times! I believe this book adds indirect insights to our understanding of eschatology, and I will be sharing more directly than the book revelations concerning "justice in the end times" on my YouTube channel: www.YouTube.com/DiscoverMinistries Or visit our ministry store to see the latest titles on end times: www.Discover.org.au/bookshop
I recommend this book as thought-provoking and spiritually-enriching.
Will be reading again many more times. This is a must read. A short but powerful teaching. This reading came highly recommended and I agree ... I too highly recommend it.
