This is one of my favorite Bibles. That is due in large part to my being a United Methodist. I appreciate that in the notes to the Scripture passages there are frequent allusions to what John Wesley had to say about the passage. There are also sidebars on "Wesleyan Core Terms" and "Life Application Topics." This Bible helps me be more grounded both in Scripture and in my Wesleyan heritage.
