REFRESHING. Seriously a breath of fresh air. This was more than just a book for school—I chose this class personally and so far it is a guilty pleasure course. To read in depth, critique, analyze, process, ponder, study and discuss ideas with other minds and individuals—what more could one want?

I am only upset my professor merely brushed over Kant (for I love his idea son beauty and reason). My favorite in the book was probably the playboy—>monk transformation (Augustine’ readings).

This is the third or so time I've used this for a class. While it needs to be supplemented with other books, it is a great reader -- just needs some more recent writings!
