Pedestrian Parenting

Rate this book
Every child is wonderful because each human is exceptional. That is the main thrust of this very hilarious, sometimes moving book, told through the perspective of a daddy trying and often failing to go against the grain. If every person is wonderful and brilliant and unique, after all, then the ways that society has taught us to raise them – through buying, through plugging in, through perfectly controlled environments – are woefully inadequate.

Can I just be honest? Yes, this book is awesome. But I shouldn't really give it away. I just want you to know I'm fairly proud of my work here.

Fun(ny) stories! But, knowing the author slightly, I got distracted with personal questions, and kept feeling like "commenting" as if it were a blog post. I guess writing that makes you want to interact is a good thing, though...

A few noticeable typos, and the "flow" was a little "jumpy." But like I said, I liked the stories.
