Nick Lortz is sitting outside a cafe in Whistler, a village in the Canadian mountains, when a stranger comes and sits next to him. She's young, pretty and has a beautiful smile. Nick is happy to sit and talk with her.
But why does she call Nick "Mr Hollywood"? Why does she give him a big kiss when she leaves? And who is the man at the next table - the man with short white hair?
Nick learns the answers to these questions three long days later - in a police station on Vancouver Island.

1. oxford 1 2. 5/26=90 3. Canada stranger Nick call Mr.Hollywood question answer 4. a)She smiled at him. It was a nice smile. But Nick knew all about nice smiles and he walked quickly out of the restaurant. b) Nick is cautious of beautiful woman because he was implicated in a troble. I think the experience was traumatic for him. 5. At first, the story was strange and I could not understand what Mistery girl wants to do. The end of story, Nick could understand all mistery and reason why he was implicated in a troble but it was not related to Nick at all. I think he was unlucky.
Normally these stories are a cutdown of a bigger story but in this case I think it is a standalone. The plot is not so complex that an emerging reader would struggle.
yeah…idk got it for free from my schools library. It’s obviously not really supposed to be really entertaining or anything, it’s just to study English. Something you can mindlessly read for 30 min.

Have you ever lie about yourself to escape your dangerous, for example, your mom's angry? If you have done, what was it? A. In my case, when I come back my house late because of playing with my friend too much, sometimes I lie to my mom. It was a lie that our train or bus was a little delayed. 5. For me this book was easy for me to read, however, I was a little confused while reading this book because there were some names. Actually, I'm not good at remembering each chatacter's name. That's why sometimes I read back to the first page and confirmed the name. In regard to this story, at the end of this story, actually a person who tried to kill the main character because of making a false is because they really want to revenge, however, he made a mistake.

1.John Escott Level1 2.5/21=10min 3.Nick, Mr hollywood, kiss, mystery, gun, detective, wrong, 4. "Excuse me,"somebody said. "Can I sit with you?" And he walked quickly out of the restaurant. Because this passage expect to involve a man in an accident again. 5.I thought that this book express human relations, so sometimes I confused.
