I can’t rate this because it was not for pleasure. I wouldn’t say pleasure was an emotion I experienced while reading it. I did learn a lot from it and read it out loud with Claire. some of my favorite moments from the reading experience include: “pouchitis from an ileoanal anastomoses for irritable bowel disease …. give metronidazole”, “selective vagotomy for peptic ulcer disease”, the many many many pages that I had to reread five times to understand :) :) :)
