I would highly recommend this book for any woman, young, old or in between, as a way to claim (or reclaim) her primary identity as beloved daughter of the most high God. Dr. Hackett’s writing is succinct and to the point with personal illustrations that illuminate her key points. Her reflection questions get to the heart of the matter, prompting one’s mind to delve deeply into her unique feminine genius, God given given gifts and relationship to God while discovering and meditating on the truth God speaks over her. This is a work meant to be savored, not devoured and every reader will find value in this book whether you are just beginning your walk with the Lord or have been a Christian for decades.

This book might change your life. God is waiting for each of us to turn toward HIM and have a real relationship with HIM. This book is perfect for all ages, young and old from all denominations. The questions at the end of each chapter are perfect for a twenty-minute retreat for yourself, or to ask others in a small group study. The print is easy to read and you do not have to have a degree in Theology to understand what it means. I highly recommend this book. Be prepared to feel God's love in a dynamic new way, realizing you are HIS special Daughter.

Not what I expected

I was hoping for more of what the title suggested. Its a good basic book for Catholic women. Nothing new and fresh.
