A love story told (mostly) in the form of e-mail messages between a man in the U.S.A. and a woman in Yugoslavia, set during the 1999 NATO campaign in Kosovo.

(This book was actually written by two people: Alma A. Hromic (now writing as Alma Alexander) and R.A. Deckert.)

LOVED this book...till the very end. I think I understand why they chose the ending they did but I don't like when purported memoir becomes not-so.
