Lily falls in love, only to have to run away from it completely. Lily is a young woman on the run with her son, going from town to town trying to out run her murderous past. When her son joins Karate she had no idea the instructor would be that attractive. James comes into her life unexpectedly and she tries to keep her past a secret as much as she can. Falling in love was not part of the escape plan she had envisioned. Will her past catch up to her and destroy the life she built for herself? Or will someone else’s past come and take her by surprise? Will Lily ever be free? Or will she be on the run for the rest of her life? James did not expect the beautiful Megan to walk into his life, and have it flipped upside when he falls in love with a woman younger than him. Only to find out that she’s been lying about who she really is.

For a first time novel, I am impressed. I really enjoyed ALL the characters and the love story 💕
