Pop Sugar Challenge 2023- Read a book purchased second hand

The books tells the story of 19 Australian different Australians and what makes them a hero. These Australians are from different walks of life and different eras.

Loved the story of Paul Featherstone, rescuer at Thredbo Landslide amongst other rescues. A very worthy story.
Least favourite story was The Don (Sir Donald Bradman). I just don’t understand what the greatest cricketer possibly did to make it as a hero’s story.

A great read if you are into Biographies.

Took me a really long time to get through because I lost it for a while under the bed, then forgot I was reading it. It was a little long winded and wordy for me, and I ended up skimming the information. Maybe it was my mood or something, but I never really got into this book and basically abandoned it.
