Any time I read a book with a dubious consent theme, I feel :
1. Like I shouldn't be reading it.
2. It definitely shouldn't turn me on.

But I did read it, obviously, and it did turn me on for sure. The only problem was it ended too abruptly. I'm hoping for a sequel.

Persephone, Amanda’s cat, suddenly begins to growl, alerting Amanda something is not right in her home. Amanda begins to inspect every room, trying to find out what is getting her cat so upset, when she feels something graze her leg. Before she knows it, Amanda falls into a deep sleep and awakens tied to a bed and wearing a sexy negligee.

It isn’t long before Amanda finds out she’s been kidnapped and exactly what her captor wants from her. With just three days away from her wedding to Drew and embarking on a new life, she knows she must do what it takes to survive the ordeal she is presented with.

But who is her captor? Does he keep his face hidden in a mask because he means to let Amanda go, or does he have more nefarious intentions up his sleeve? And why does Amanda feel like she knows him and can’t stop her body from craving his touch?

Warning: Kidnapped: Say, Please is a book intended solely for adults with themes consisting of: kidnapping, bondage, anal play, and dubious or non-consensual sex. If none of these themes appeal to you, then this book is not for you.

Just in reading the synopsis, I knew I was in for a hell of a read, but Kidnapped: Say, Please is more than just a quick romp in the erotica pond. The author, Kami Kayne, gives an insight I found hit every single emotion possible as Amanda tries to process what is happening to her and vies for a way to escape.

What I liked the most about this short read (46 pages) was how Amanda really runs through the gamut of emotions and doesn’t easily surrender to her captor – he has to take her fighting all the way to the end, and it isn’t until he reveals himself that really brings on the game changer.

My only complaint with Kidnapped: Say, Please is that it was too short! In doing a quick search on the net, I discovered the author doesn’t have a blog site or any way to find out if there is a sequel planned for this book. I truly hope there is, because I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

This was a super short, but super hot story with GREAT potential. I started reading it and was a bit apprehensive thinking, 'where exactly is the author going with this.' It then took a turn and I was really enjoying it. And just when things started getting good...it ends...just like that. I haven't been able to find out any information on an intended sequel. I feel like I've been teased. Oh well, here's to hoping the author eventually gives us more.

This erotic short story involves a woman and her kidnapper who does actions that are not rape but sexual in nature leaving her very aroused. The premise of the kidnapping is that the kidnapper does not want the woman to get married...which will happen in three days. A deal is made by the two people but that isn't quite the end of the story. The writing is very steamy and crisp...not a lot of wasted words. While I would have liked a conclusion to the story, I thought leaving it to the imagination was clever as well. Four stars for making the temperature rise during the sex scenes!

Kidnapped: Say, Please is an extremely hot story that had some unexpected twists and turns. The character development was interesting and the interaction between the kidnapper and victim was dramatic. Each twist revealed in the story left the reader with more questions about why the kidnapper was acting as he did. The ending was a cliffhanger and anyone who reads this will want to read the next part of the story. Or will the author give another story to answer some of the questions posed in this one?

Well, more of 3 1/2 stars for me.

I read this not knowing that there might have been a sequel, but I have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.. some small parts felt a bit.. meh. And considering how short the story is, I felt it affected the book.. so, let's try this again...

Liked it a lot, but could have been better... it's an enjoyable read :) and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

What happened to the rest of the story? It was just starting to get good. I wanted to know why this man, Cody Wright, kidnapped her. All I got was he did not want her to marry her fiance because he was not the right man. But WHY? Does the kidnapper know something about this fiance? Is the fiance a serial killer? Is this Cody secretly in love with Amanda? or is he just deranged kidnapper?

Amanda tells us the whole of the first chapter that she loves her life and the one she´s to marry, the second chapter that she doesn´t want to be raped and the third agreeing to stay 24 hours? Meh.
Ended in the middle, we don´t get to know how their agreement ends.
