3.75 stars. Very digestible and clear explanations. Wish there was more discussion of interventions and application to more complex populations vs. mostly mild anxiety/depression, and more discussion around "when things go wrong" and being flexible in session. I don't think I could implement extremely strict & structured CBT in my practice without it feeling stiff/paternalistic but I understand it much better after reading this book, and will definitely use core concepts like situation -> automatic thought -> emotion -> behavior connections.
