A good, basic introduction to England's history. I checked it out of the library looking for interesting tidbits of England for my seniors.
Good background into how England was established, the history of its people, what makes the country a power-house, etc.
This would be good for an ESL or inclusion classroom.
The book is from 1999, so the statistical information is out of date.
