Laugh your way through the pages of Delaware Curiosities, your round-trip ticket to the wildest, wackiest, most outrageous people, places, and things the Diamond State has to offer.
I'm enjoying this book and I'm happy I saw it on a friends update. Having lived in Delaware all my life almost I'm a little ashamed at how very little I knew about it. There are plenty of interesting facts, places, an history that I never knew before. Not to mention a few things that I can do with my daughter and parents. The first part of the book which was my county and the next one over in particular was the most interesting for me. I'm glad I found this book. Probably wouldn't be all that interesting to people who don't have a link to DE. but...for those that do I'd recommend taking a look.
This is a definite must read for those of us Delawareans (and others out of state) who enjoy not only interesting facts about the state, but want to hear about good 'ol Delaware's odd and not so normal side. Even though I've lived here all my life, I didn't know most of the facts presented in this book even existed, and I found myself taking quite a few notes to give me some new ideas for day trips.
