Wise One

by Roger Elwood

A gentle old mancomes out of his mountain home to issue a warning to the residents of an ancient village. "Satan himself intends to destroythis village! He plans to attack most severely. The Angels of heaven itself can protect you since they will be sent by Almighty God, but this will happen only if rededicate yourself to the saviour." Then he is gone and does not reappear for more than a decade. But he leaves behind a legacy of.......Wise One. This is both a tale of both a mystery and prophetic imagery.

Reviews

[Curtis Sweitzer]

Not one of my favorite of his series of books. Often slow which I found surprisingly since I enjoyed many of his others especially the Angel Walk series

[Peter]

Marginally better than Angelwalk... There was almost even a plot. Once again, he focused too much on sermonizing. I had much better memories of his books than my rereads would indicate.

[Valerie]

It kept me interested and turning the pages, but yet it was odd and sort of bizarre.
