There is advice on such falconers' practices as constructing hawk houses, furniture care, and making gloves and hoods (patterns are included for reference). In addition, there is information on techniques involved in hawking out of the hood and in game hawking, together with suggestions on hawking and transporting hawks. There are also helpful tips on selecting flying country and choosing hawking dogs to suit the faconer's needs.
