There will always be a price to pay for your wrongdoings. Vengeance and retribution - those who plan such acts do so with pleasure - but who are they?
Virginia, a confident, happily married, thirty-something professional, lands in a spot of bother. Following a series of unfortunate events, her life flips into chaos - she loses everything. Of course, her father, who died thirty years ago, is undoubtedly unable to help because he's dead - or is he?
As we now know, the dead really do walk amongst us - well, apparently so. Terry and Deana return for their third riotous escapade as they attempt to save Virginia from destitution despite a stranger's emergence and a series of unexplained deaths.
1977 - An event in Terry's past which comes to light in 2015 - a revelation that shatters Virginia's beliefs about her life. 1987 - An indecent proposal which leads to ruined lives becomes the catalyst for a series of deaths a quarter of a century in the future. 2016 - Virginia's growing list of disasters leaves her with no option but to rent a squalid flat on the notorious Broxworth Estate. Now jobless, facing divorce and financial ruin with a potential prison sentence looming - can life get any worse? At the point when Virginia runs out of options to haul her life back on track, a reformed gang member appears on the scene - could he be her salvation?
Can Terry and Deana complete their most challenging mission, finally satisfy the 'Powers that be', and thus find solace in the afterlife? Will that diva, Deana, persuade Terry to satisfy her womanly desires, or can he continue to resist her demonic demands?

Hello ... I'm a self-confessed time-travel fan. So, unsurprisingly, my books fit into the time-travel genre. My third book, Eye of Time, will be published in October 2021. Please drop onto my website for updates.
These were cute books -the premise was interesting & the narrators were excellent- I purchased the 3-book set from Audible. However, if I never hear the words "assume(d)" or "presume(d)" again, it will be too soon. I love authors- they're my superheroes, but I can only guess that either the editor was asleep at the wheel or Mr. Cousins was trying for a Guinness Book of World Records award for the repetition of those words. I started muttering every time they popped up, & I would have to back up to hear what I'd missed.
I absolutely love Adrian's books. I have read them all and not one has disappointed. I have just finished book 3 of the Deana series. I meant to leave a review after finishing each book but I just couldn't wait to read the next one. I think this series might just be my favourite. Although it doesn't take me back to my childhood ( I am 70 ) it does take me back to the childhood of my 2 son's both born in the 70s. Such wonderful memories. The TV shows, the music, even the language we used was different then. I have to admit sometimes I like a bit of Un political correctness! These books are so funny what a wicked sense of humour Deana has. I think I am a little bit in love with Terry I know he's a naughty boy but he gets it right in the end. Can't wait for your next one's darling! !
I've enjoyed this series and hope it will continue. Terry and Deana continue to persevere in their efforts to straighten out the lives (And deaths) of their immediate families and of course the retro theme is always there in the background from the 60s upwards which always delights me as I can well relate to those years. So, if Ghosts, nostalgia, innuendos, and laughs out loud appeal to you, well this book's for you, but reading the whole series would be my recommendation.
The ghostly duo once again find themselves trying to help yet another of Terry's offspring, this highly comical story which involves even more dubious dead people who somehow are interconnected with both terry and deana's pasts and who are seeking retribution for wrongs done to both them and their daughter A highly entertaining story, which follows on nicely from the previous two books, definitely a 5🌟 read
Loved it, life without Deana and Terry is boring, just how many more children are going to crawl out of the woodwork? All the books are funny and have a twist at the end
I think this was a story too far. Although I still quite enjoyed the storyline the parts where Deana and Terry were alone, as well as some other interactions became a bit tedious
Packed with nostalgia mixed with current times. Cleverly written. Full of surprises, not predictable. I recommend it to anyone who likes the themes of time travel and fantasy
What a laugh with murdering a murdering ghost crooked cops and accountant with wandering hand's Deana and Terry have got their work cut out on this one
