Written for the aspiring author, ten writers explain how they deal planning; research; plot; characterization; dialogue; use of language; editing methods; publishers; and agents. The book includes interviews with Jeffrey Archer, Barbara Taylor Bradford, Frederick Forsyth and James Herbert.
