Roy McKie (October 8, 1921 – January 8, 2015) was an American writer and illustrator of children's books.
McKie's illustration work for and friendship with legendary Random House publisher Bennett Cerf led to an introduction to “Ted” Geisel, who was looking for an illustrator. Geisel and McKie hit it off, and as a result, McKie provided artwork for several titles by Dr. Seuss.
Kirsten read this to me this morning. Lot of fun riddles. She did not laugh cause she was concentrating on sounding the words. We had a great time reading this
Awesome! I just found this book today. It had been stowed away for years. I laughed at all the cheesy jokes, and remembered the fun I had as a child telling them to my friends and family.
