Made my thesis SO much easier! I prefer Fanning's interpretation of the grammaticalization of time in Koine to the opposing point of view put forth in Stanley Porter's work published the same year.

Excellent book. Not easy to read and requires lots of patience and endurance, but well worth it. Fanning does a fantastic job dealing with this very complicated topic.
