Już mnie tak nie urzekła. SD mam wrażenie jest tu kompletnie innym bohaterem, niż był w pierwszej części. Wciąż z dobrym przekazem, ważnym dla młodych czytelników, ale subiektywnie, mi się podobało o wiele mniej. :(

Social performance can be taxing, and the shake-up of new members into your close circle changes group dynamics that can be anxiety inducing. The comfort of stability has been shaken. This is the crux of The Sad Ghost Club 2, which opens the morning following the adorable previous edition of Lize Meddings series about mental health and finding your kindred spirits, represented quite literally as people in sheets to look like ghosts. Honestly, the follow-up is even better and continues the theme of talking about your feelings and that ‘people want to know that they’re not alone!’ In this volume, SG and Socks have found new recruits for their club—started by SG without much consent from Socks—and learn how group dynamics can be frightening and that jealousy and self-doubt are real and valid fears that can derail mental health. It is a charming little graphic novel with many worthwhile examinations of intrusive thoughts and perceptions of self-worth that warms the heart and remind us all that change can be difficult, but also broaden your horizons and bring new people into your heart.
I really love how positive and comforting this series is, and that it encourages readers to check their own mental health, find a supportive community, and encourage talking about your feelings. It’s just such a pure and good series with cute art and an uplifting vibe that makes you want to hug the characters and join their club. I think we all feel this way sometimes and it's nice to see them talk about their feelings, work it out, and support each other to keep on keeping on. I think this series will speak to a lot of people and remind us that our intrusive thoughts are just that, intrusive thoughts that we can learn to set aside and embrace each other. The book also includes an appendix of mental health resources, which is wonderful, so if you are a sad ghost too please know I am here for you.

"People want to know that they’re not alone!"
Last year I read The Sad Ghost Club and it spoke to me. It expressed exactly how I feel at times and it really hit hard. We seem to move through life with these high expectations but some of us never fully express our true selves to others. It's easier for others to do simple things but it takes a lot out of the other people who just feel blah.
This volume follows those same lines but with a lot more love and hope. It was so deeply moving and made my heart so full of love. I enjoyed this one more than the first one but I love them both so very much. Sometimes it takes a little more than others to feel welcomed into a group and it's rough when certain thoughts are running through your mind. But we must persevere and try our hardest. This was such a sweet story.

دلم میخواد هر نوجوونی که بهش نیاز داره زودتر پیداش کنه. و یجورایی خوشحالم که خودم هیچوقت اون نوجوون نبودم، اما بنظرم هرکدوممون یکم، یه وقتایی جزو انجمن ارواح غمگین بودیم. (و بعدا شدیم جزو انجمن شاعران مرده.)

Jestem dużą fanką tych komiksów. Pierwszy tom był wprowadzeniem poruszającym tematykę nadmiernego myślenia (tzw. overthinking), ten z kolei jest świetną kontynuacją i skupia się na problem w relacjach międzyludzkich. Te powieści graficzne otulają zranione serce, łagodzą wewnętrzne lęki i dają poczucie spokoju ducha. Myślę, że każdy w jakimś stopniu potrafi się zidentyfikować z bohaterami wykreowanymi przez Lizę Meddings. Ogromnie wam ją polecam, szczególnie na gorszy czas. Nie mogę się już doczekać kolejnego tomu!

„Klub Smutnych Duchów 2” to druga część trylogii, która swoją formą podwójnie zapada w pamięć. Warstwa literacka łączy się z piękną kreską, tworząc wartościową powieść graficzną. Po tym, jak pokochałam pierwszy tom, musiałam zobaczyć, co stanie się w drugim. Z jednej strony to prosta w konstrukcji historia, ale jaka wymowna i autentyczna.
Ostatnio bardziej niż kiedykolwiek mogę utożsamić się z historią SD i Skarpetki. Czasami po prostu chcę być tylko ze sobą, wyłączyć świat, czytać, pisać i nie ruszać się z miejsca. Nadal to robię, ale lektura 2. części przypomniała mi, że nigdy do końca nie jesteśmy sami. Sprawy się poprawiają. Ktoś zawsze tam jest, czy o tym wiemy, czy nie.
Lize Meddings łączy społeczność ludzi, którzy czują się samotni, pominięci, zapomnieni. Daje im nadzieję na lepsze jutro i tak bardzo to kocham! Bo każdy z nas zasługuje na poczucie przynależności i swój happy end.

Muitoooooooo melhor que o primeiro. Muito pertinente. E já não há “OMD”, estou feliz.
este ano saiu o volume 2 da série e embora estivesse um pouco reticente acabei por pegar nele. para minha surpresa já não havia “omd” nenhum e gostei ainda mais da forma como a lize abordou os novos temas - dinâmicas de grupo, papéis sociais, dúvida, ciúme, medo de não pertencermos ou de já não sermos desejados.
gostava de ter lido estes livros quando era mais nova. ter-me-iam ajudado a perceber que não estava sozinha, que não era algo assim tão estranho. que não precisava/preciso de me isolar de tudo e todos quando a ansiedade aumenta. que são só pensamentos. é só o cérebro. que tudo passa. é uma ótima leitura, mas uma ainda melhor para os mais jovens.

Ja jestem zachwycona tymi komiksami. 😍
Mają one prostą kreskę, samego tekstu nie ma za dużo, ale poruszają masę ważnych tematów (które są dobrze przedstawione).
Ta trylogia powinna być "wciskana" każdemu nastolatkowi. Myślę, że duża część osób utożsami się z Klubem Smutnych Duchów.
Dla mnie rewelacje. Nie mogę się doczekać trzeciego tomu. 😊

Podobało mi się, może nieco mniej niż 1 tom, ale.. nadal mamy tutaj dużo przekazu, nadal jest wzruszająco i nadal mogę utożsamiać się z postaciami. Co jest właściwie smutne, ale i piękne, bo rozumiem to, co mogą przeżywać te postacie. Jest to historia banalna, niewiele się tu dzieje, kreska jest bardzo ładna, prosta, bo większy nacisk jest tutaj postawiony na właśnie zrozumienie emocji tych postaci. Ta seria uświadamia czytelnika o problemach jakie mogą dosięgnąć każdego z nas.

محتوای کتاب رو دوست دارم
اما به شدت از نشر میلکان عصبانی ام
من جلد اول رو خیلی وقت پیش خریدم و الان توی نمایشگاه دو جلد بعدی رو گرفتم و کیفیت چاپ این دو جلد جدید افتضاحه و اصلا قابل مقایسه با جلد اول نیست
اما به شدت از نشر میلکان عصبانی ام
