The stories aren't scintillating, but they'll do for Greek reading practice. My biggest disappointment with the book is that the second half is just a copy of the first, minus the English parallel text. Useful if you want to re-read the Greek without English but otherwise just artificially inflates the page count.

However, I would recommend these to anyone learning Modern Greek. It's difficult to find Modern Greek learning resources, especially outside of Greece, so the easy availability of this book via Kindle is quite welcome.

The stories are a little easier at the start, gradually getting harder with more vocabulary.
Just a shame that there is no way of hearing the text read by a Greek person!
I would recommend this book but you do need to know quite a bit of Greek ;)
