I agreed to drive my twin sister and her fiancé to Vegas to get married in my RV. I didn't expect to find her and my boyfriend in bed together not even twelve hours into the trip. The sh*t hits the fan and one thing leads to another. Now they've taken off on my Mexico vacation and I just agreed to go to Hawaii on her honeymoon with her ex. Except... we didn't plan to catch feelings for each other on the trip. Looks like things just got complicated. A gay for you m/m romantic comedy.
I live in the Deep South in Louisiana with my daughter and grandson. I love to read, fish, travel, take nature walks and spend time with my family when I'm not writing.
His legs are long enough, despite the fact he comes up to my shoulder, I feel his flaccid cock brush up against my semi-chub
Robbie has an unusually short torso, I guess. But this was just the straw on top of the bad formatting, the use of “Gypsy” and “stanky snatch juice” and OTT dramatics in the not fun way.
This book kept me on my toes Where on earth to begin so you’ve got a set of twins you have Robbie and his older sister by 15 minutes Rinna. And she is a spoiled brat and a golddigger and makes her brothers live hell, she wakes him one day in his RV to tell him he’s got to drive her and her fiance Philip to Vegas so they can get married. She doesn’t care that Robbie is going on holiday with his boyfriend and it would be really tight getting back in time for the flights she basically made him feel very guilty so he would do it. Josh wasn’t happy about it but he accepted it and went on the journey with Robbie. But the trip to Vegas isn’t a happy one. After drinking loads of alcohol Josh is found in bed with Rinna, both virtually naked. They blame it on the alcohol but Robbie and Philip are not impressed. A shouting match starts and it’s soon comes apparent that his sister and his boyfriend have been having an affair. The next morning they’re both missing and so are the tickets to the Mexico vacation that Robbie and Josh was going on. Robbie is furious but thankfully Philip talked him into sorting it out and then going on holiday with him to Hawaii. And the story doesn’t stop there. This really kept me on my toes I did not like Rinna at all. She just turned my stomach but I really enjoyed the attraction and the connection that Robbie and Philip had. It was pure they didn’t think about anything or anyone else it was just about them. They are really great today. And Josh is just a waste of space! A really great read.

I enjoyed the banter and good comradeship which eventually lead to a beautiful, sweet friendship between Robbie and Phillip- Robbie’s soon to be brother-in-law as a result of Robbie’s boyfriend Josh sleeping with his sister Rinna….
What a load of narcissistic jerks Rinna and Josh turned out to be….
I loved the idea that Philip invited Robbie to his honeymoon destination and what Robbie did with the Mexican reservation…
It was a sweet, short love story about a bi-awakening and friendship that turned into so much more!.

This is such a cute story, and it definitely is complicated. Robbie and Rinna are twins. Robbie is with his boyfriend Josh, and Rinna is engaged to Phillip. Rinna wants Robbie to drive her and Phillip to Las Vegas in his motor home so they can elope and Josh goes along for the ride. Partway there, an argument ensues when Josh and Rinna are found in bed together, even though both insist nothing happened. Both couples split up, but continue toward Vegas. At the stop for the night, sleeping arrangements get complicated and everything unwinds from there. Rinna and Josh take off, and Josh and Phillip decide to fly to Hawaii to use the honeymoon tickets. As the two spend more time together, it appears Phillip isn’t as straight as he thought. Rinna and Josh reappear and things take on a mind of their own, leading to a HEA for ????? Fun, light-hearted read with cute quirky characters.

This is so much drama in this book! Robbie and Phillip are really cute together. I really enjoyed the slow burn yet intense pull. I laughed a lot but my heart broke for Robbie and Phillip with everything they had to put up with. Thankfully Phillip was ready to admit his true feelings and he and Robbie get a really sweet HEA. I can't wait to see what Avery has in store for us next.

If you're looking for a quick simple read this wasn't bad. Robbie and Philip were quite sweet but his sister and Josh were just too childish and awful. I do have an issue with Robbie being so determined to provide labels for Philip and Josh - for example if Philip sees himself as bi, then he doesn't need Robbie deciding he is heteroflexible instead, just because he's never been with a man before. I enjoyed reading Complicated. It was sweet and entertaining. I loved watching the MCs find their HEA. Avery Adams is a new to me author. I will definitely be on the lookout for their books.

Robbie’s life is a bit of a hot mess during the book. He’s a good guy, although way too forgiving of his sister. I enjoyed the story. Phillip was very sweet. My only issue was that there should have been some real consequences for Rinna and Josh. That was so messed up! Anyway…low angst, pretty fluffy, low heat.

I was in the mood for a short romantic comedy, and this one definitely hit the spot! Robbie’s sister Rinna wants him to drive her and her fiancé Phillip to Vegas to get married. Robbie gets his boyfriend Josh to come along reluctantly. What happens is a low-angst, shake-your-head, rollercoaster ride that will have you laughing the whole time, with interesting characters, a thoughtful story, and HEA for everyone eventually. Robbie and Phillip are sweet but not too sweet, and their chemistry is great. I just wish the ending was a bit longer.

This book was such a fun ride! I never thought I would find someone being cheated on to be so awkwardly funny! Robbie and Phillip were both nice, normal guys who really clicked with a great chemistry. They ended up being perfect for each other. It was enjoyable watching them find each other in the wake of their significant others wronging them. I was routing for everyone to find a HEA! This was a laugh and smile quick read!
This story was complicated as the story opens with Robbie being awakened by his less than considerate sibling who then cajoles him into driving her and her mister to Vegas only to flip the switch. Basically after the partner swap Robbie winds up with Phillip and the story gets more interesting as he and his sister's ex start a relationship. Fun read with twists and turns that leads to a good ending for Robbie and Phillip.

Talk about complicated. There's betrayal, cheating, chemistry, and steamy. This was a fun read seeing how the relationship between Robbie and Philip grows.
Love is complicated and not for the faint hearted! Robbie has a love/hate relationship with his sister and sibling rivalry rears its head often in clashes between them. All is not fair in love and war. Despite the breakups Phillip and Robbie are drawn together and fall in love. This is such an amazing story! Story is well written, fast paced, with lots of angst, friendship, acceptance celebration, arguments, sibling rivalry, spats, and redemption and forgiveness. There's an epilogue and a beautiful HEA!
I liked Complicated by Avery Adams. I liked Robbie and Phillip's story. I read Complicated after reading Cinder Fella, also by Avery Adams, and I loved Cinder Fella. I kept getting confused about who was who in Complicated and which name went with which person. Robbie and Phillip were too alike in how they acted and their responses. It was hard to believe that Phillip was supposed to be straight. And there was so much drama, and both of the main characters were cheated on by their partners. And then Robbie and Phillip go on the honeymoon trip together, falling in love and getting married. Overall, I liked the last half of the book better than the first half, which is why it got four stars instead of three.

I wasn't sure if I would like this story, because I generally don't like cheating, but it turned out to be a fun, entertaining, occasionally awkward (for Ronnie and Phillip), sweet story. I liked the idea of the two betrayed guys heading out on the planned honeymoon trip after Ronnie's sister and his supposed boyfriend took his trip to Mexico. I really wanted to punch Rinna, though. She was such a spoiled, inconsiderate witch. But, all's well that ends well, and Ronnie was best rid of Josh. He got a better deal.

So, there were lots and lots of things I really liked about this book. It was very Complicated, indeed. There was a road trip, drama, cheating (not on page), straights coming out of the closet, gays that were really straight or close enough), crushes, insta-love, plenty of snark, sweetness, and lots of steam. But the things that I did not like made me give it four stars. I did really like the dual POV's, but the way the dialogue moved back and forth, so many times I was lost as who was speaking and to whom. I had to go back a paragraph or a page or to the beginning of a chapter to see whose POV it was to figure it out. (That is the one downside to MM romance: there are a lot of "he's" being referenced.) Other than that, I really enjoyed this book.

Original at the start, then rather cute 4.5 I was not really convinced at first, but more intrigued by the blurb of the book to understand how the relationship between Philipp and Robbie was born despite the starting situation, then evolved. I loved hating Robbie's opportunistic sister. The story is tender, well constructed and well written. There are a few hot scenes, but it's still pretty cute, based on how Philipp and Robbie's relationship develops. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
I wasn't sure if I was going to finish this story or not. So much over the top stuff happening...I had claim I was done so many times throughout... but I guess I wanted to see how this was gonna end. I was surprise with the ending. How like 80percent of the book was sooooooooooooo immature then towards the end, everybody acted like they had some sense???? Well I enjoyed Robbie and Phillip's HEA and was satisfied things worked out for everyone.

Oh my goodness! This book was a mess of complicated drama, but I couldn't stop reading. This isn't really my thing, and while I was intrigued by the premise of this story, if I knew how crazy it was, I'd probably not have picked it up. But I'm glad I did because it was fun. Horrible sisters and exes aside, I wanted Robbie and Phillip to come up on top after the horrible way they were treated by nasty entitled people. A very satisfying ending. 4 stars.
Complicated was a well named book! So much fun to read. Robbie drives his twin sister and her boyfriend to Vegas to get married, she's a gold digger. She ends up in bed with Robbie's boyfriend. Turns out Robbie's sister and boyfriend had been having an affair. Robbie ends up going on his sisters honeymoon with her ex-boyfriend. There's drama, cheating (not on page) not so straight guys, snark, and insta love to name a few. the story reminded me of a Hallmark movie. Overall, a cute, fun read!
Robbie and Rinna are twins. Robbie's boyfriend is Josh and Rinna is engaged to Phillip. Rinna talks Robbie into taking them to Las Vegas to elope in his RV. On the way Robbie and Phillip find out Rinna and Josh are having an affair. Rinna and Josh sneak away. Phillip ask Robbie to go to Hawaii with him and things start to change. I really enjoyed this book.
