Peter Burwash is an exceptional writer and clearly at the top of his game in his industry/area of expertise. The book is really good because it tells you how to be a leader with the LEADERSHIP TRAITS being the chapter names. This really helps because it is short and sweet and to the point on how you have to obtain each trait. Also for each leadership trait he includes a short anecdote from his life in which it was displayed in. I also like the fact that you have to serve people before leading. A lot of people forget that and just start acting like the big boss before being humble.
On the bad side, the only thing I have to say was that it never mentioned self-regulation. I think i would have like Burwash to go into more detail about that because it is something that I struggle with. despite the book being 160 pages it is a must read no matter what field you are going into. he also writes with a little element of spirituality which shows his constant hunger for learning

Among some of the best advice given by this author: Be Positive- "Most people go through life stepping on flowers while pointing out weeds". *Marital Advice Point #1 Marry a person who is steady in their moods. Marital Advice Point #2 Marry a person who is positive.

Read this book "The Key to Great Leadership" by the author Peter Burwash.
The book is actually divided into two segments.
1. The book covers best examples from the service industry and more precisely from the hotel and airline sector.
2. The book covers the qualities required by the leaders to lead the organisation. The author has discovered 25 qualities required in a leader to be effective.
The author has rightly mixed theory with his personal experience. Must read book for all management student.
